My PhD dissertation was on control charts so I'm trying to get people there, one step at a time :) It has been surprising to see how many people overreact to the noise (eg targeting all the teams who score low on some measure) and don't take a step back to see how the current measure relates to past trends.
Great post - let’s take it to the next level and introduce HR to Control Charts so we don’t just spend our days chasing random noise :)

Yes, imho control charts highly under utilized outside of manufacturing/operations and Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma.
